Welcome! I am a licensed therapist with a passion for helping people find peace and happiness in their lives. I specialize in working with a diverse range of individuals, including college graduates, millennials, and those who have never tried therapy before.
I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life, and my approach to therapy is to help individuals tap into their inner strength and resilience. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
As a down-to-earth and laid back therapist, I believe that therapy doesn’t have to be stuffy or overly serious. Let’s cut the bullshit and find ways to help you live your most rich, full, and meaningful life.
Empathy is a core value in my work. I strive to listen with compassion and provide support and guidance to help you navigate challenges.
One of the key aspects of my therapeutic approach is helping you connect with your values, and I believe that this can be a powerful tool for creating a sense of purpose and direction in life. I also emphasize the importance of self-compassion and loving oneself, and work with you to develop a kinder, more accepting relationship with yourself.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as a Graduate Certificate in Addictions Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA #A16234) approved by the Board of North Carolina Professional Counselors, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC #1405923) credentialed by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I am currently working under the supervision of Charlamane Suggs, MA Ed., LCMHCS, NCC.
